Your onboarding user manual
Start with what you have, check the suggestions and complete the questions relevant to you.
This is an interactive prototype: use fictional information; original files are read locally, while extracted text, fields and draft progress are saved to the site’s SQL database under this browser’s session. Wait for “Saved to SQL” before refreshing. No application or message is sent to a bank.

1. Start your application
Choose files or drag them into the upload area, or choose Enter details manually / with voice to begin without a document.
- Supported files: PNG, JPEG, PDF and plain text; up to five starting files, 12 MB each, and ten pages per PDF.
- The eight fictional examples demonstrate different applicant paths; these examples use prepared text.
- Try real OCR on a fictional company scan creates an image and runs actual text recognition.
2. Check your profile
Check the legal form, name, location, registration, address and activity, then correct or fill any missing values. For an individual application, choose Individual to receive personal questions.
View extracted document text shows what the reader found, and Why these fields were suggested shows field provenance. The reader combines English OCR, tolerant label/layout mapping, passport/ID MRZ checks and extra certificate-region readings. Conflicting digits stay flagged; correct them against the image. Chinese characters and unsupported layouts still need manual entry.
Choose the ownership option that actually applies, including assistance when uncertain; a preselected value is not evidence from your documents. Confirm the profile and choose Build my next page.
3. Complete the relevant path
| Applicant | What comes next |
|---|---|
| Individual | Your own identity details, followed by account-use and tax questions. |
| Company | Structure and connected parties first, followed by their identity or entity details. |
| Sole proprietor or partnership | Proprietor or partner details and relevant signatories. |
| Trust or charity | Relevant trust parties or office bearers and an assisted review route. |
| Financial-services business | The legal-form path plus regulatory and business-model questions. |
For a structure, add each person or corporate entity, select their roles and choose who they are Connected to. A person with several roles needs only one record. Enter ownership percentages where applicable.
A corporate owner needs its own record and underlying people; do not identify a company as a natural-person beneficial owner. If information is missing, select assisted review and explain the unresolved details.
Use Scan an identity document to suggest values for empty identity fields, then check them; this does not verify identity.
4. Type or speak into a field
Type directly, or choose the musical-note button beside a field to open voice-assisted entry. Choose a language, start the microphone if supported, stop listening, review the transcript and select Apply to this field.
Speech requires compatible on-device browser recognition and an installed language pack. If unavailable, type into the transcript box or use your device's keyboard dictation; the demo does not silently switch to cloud speech.
Hover over any field or button for a one-sentence explanation. Screen readers also receive these descriptions, and this manual provides guidance when hover is unavailable.
5. Explain account use and tax details
First complete the contact screen. Enter your email and international phone number. Generate demo code creates an expiring, single-use rehearsal code displayed on the page; nothing is emailed or texted. Enter that code to exercise verification. The status remains VERIFIED_DEMO, not verified ownership of a real address or phone. Request assisted review if needed. Company applicants also identify the representative and their authority.
Identity forms collect document type, issuing authority and expiry or a no-expiry/assistance explanation. Expired documents remain review items; neither OCR nor contact codes establish identity. A production identity/liveness provider is still required.
Describe the account purpose, source of incoming money, expected countries, monthly activity and currencies. Source of wealth explains how wealth or business capital was accumulated; source of funds explains the money entering this account.
List tax residences and tax identification numbers (TINs), or explain why a number is unavailable. Entity tax classification can add controlling-person questions. Financial-services applicants also receive regulator, licence, client-money and anti-money-laundering (AML) questions; request assistance if unsure.
6. Review and download
Choose Review my application, check the summary and attach supporting files using Add file. Received documents remain unverified. Use Back to correct earlier entries; changing the legal form can clear dependent details.
Confirm the review statement and choose Prepare saved review pack. Download review pack saves a JSON file containing the entered information, document text and review notes; it does not submit the application, verify identity or approve an account.
Help and common problems
- Blank or incorrect extracted fields: inspect the document text, correct the fields manually and continue with your confirmed profile.
- File rejected: check its format, size and page count, or split a large PDF.
- Cannot continue: complete the required fields and confirmation checkbox, then read any structure or validation message.
- Unclear requirements: choose Prepare a question for Jade, enter the question and select Add to review pack; the question stays in the SQL-backed draft and is not sent.
- Want to start again: choose Start a new application; the current session's entries will be cleared after the confirmation shown.
- Need to keep a record: reload this browser to resume the saved application, or download the review pack for your records. A different browser/device cannot resume it yet; authenticated cross-device access is not implemented.
